Viktor Schauberger - USA

In 1958, when his achievements were well-known by those in his fields, two Americans persuaded him and his son to visit the USA for what he hoped would lead to the manufacture of beneficial devices. They were flown to a hot Texan summer, which stressed Schauberger’s health as he was 73. Initially trusting his hosts, he’d brought all his documents and devices and wrote down everything he knew. After three months, they wanted to go home, but the Americans demanded they stay and live in the Arizona desert.
The Schaubergers refused and were only allowed home if they signed an English contract. Viktor could not read English and was pressured to sign to go home. He signed. His son did not sign.
Later, his son explained it meant ‘his father couldn’t write about or even talk about his past or future discoveries and he was bound to give everything he knew to the owner of the consortium.’
Viktor was tricked into signing all his rights over and died a broken man five days after returning home.
